A 12-year-old young boy, called Andrés, left his Pit Bull pup outside of a sanctuary in the Mexican state of Michoacan with the intention of keeping him safe from his abusive dad.

The note read:

" My name is Andrés and I am 12 years of age. My mama and also I determined to leave my pet dog in your hands, concealing it from my dad due to the fact that he is considering selling him. But he maltreats as well as kicks him. Someday he kicked him so hard that he harmed his tail. I hope you can aid as well as take treatment of him. I left him a packed pet so he won't forget me."

The young puppy, that is now named Rene, is now receiving proper care, thanks to Refugio Xollin, a canine rescue group.

Together with the young puppy, he left a stuffed animal and a note explaining the situation.

Rene's tail seems to be fractured, so he will be checked out by a vet so they can identify the following actions. Once he is totally recouped, he will be adopted into a loving forever home.
Rene's story broke the hearts of people all over the world, and also the rescue was rapidly flooded with more than 300 demands to adopt Rene.

The rescue will certainly take their time picking the absolute best home for him.
